Kabi 'Sanga Dargyeling' Monastery (1911 A.D)
Kabi ‘Sanga Dargyeling’ monastery is located about 25 kilometers away from Gangtok on the way to North Sikkim.This Monastery was started as a ‘Manilhakhang or nun Monastery’ built by the public in 1911 for the purpose of periodical pujas.The same was upgraded into full-fledged monastery in 2003 by the State Government. functions all the major holy ceremonies. A famous place of worship called ‘Kabi Longtsok’ or the oath taking place of the blood brotherhood of Bhutia-Lepcha is situated just above it along the North Sikkim Highway.
