This Manilakhang is located at Chonphung village, west Sikkim. It was built by the lamas in 1958 for the Nyamos to offer Mani prayers. It was the resting place for Buddhist pilgrims in earlier times between Yuksam and Pema Yangtse. Lama Lhatsun Chenpo during his journey also halted here to spend a night. This Manilhakhang follows Nyingmapa Sect and affiliated to Pemayangtse Monastery .
