This Manilakhang is located at
Solophok near present Chardhaam, South Sikkim. It was founded by Rilgu Lama as
Tshamkhang in 1884 A.D, where Lamas used to meditate at this place. Katuk
Tshering Lepcha donated a piece of land for constructing a Manilhakhang
which was replaced with the present structure in 1980 A.D. by the local
devotees. The Altar contains many sacred statues of different deities along with
ritual instruments belonging to the earlier Head lama.
